Formations

4-4-2 โ€” Classic and balanced. Forgiving for beginners.

4-3-3 โ€” Possession-heavy midfield triangle with width up top.

3-5-2 โ€” Three centre-backs, wing-backs supply the width.

4-5-1 โ€” Compact and cautious, breaks with a lone striker.

3-4-3 โ€” High-risk, commits extra numbers forward.

5-3-2 โ€” The most defensive shape in the game.

Playing Styles

TIKI-TAKA โ€” Patient possession. Strong vs direct play, weak vs a high press.

GEGENPRESSING โ€” Win it back high up the pitch. Great vs possession, exposed to counters.

WING PLAY โ€” Stretch play with width. Dominant vs narrow, central setups.

CENTRAL PLAY โ€” Overload the middle. Shuts down width and long balls.

ROUTE ONE โ€” Long, direct balls. Cuts through a press, struggles vs possession.

COUNTER-ATTACK โ€” Absorb and break at speed. The answer to a high press.

Counters & Mentality

Every style beats some styles and loses to others - there's no single "best" tactic. Scout your opponent before kickoff and pick your setup accordingly; the right counter is worth a real in-match bonus.

Defensive mentalities trade your own attacking edge for shutting the opponent down. Attacking mentalities open the game up in your favor - but leave you exposed.

๐ŸŽฎ How to Play

  1. Set up your club - team name, manager name, league.
  2. Draft your XI - click a pitch slot to scout it. Highest OVR isn't always the best fit.
  3. Fill your bench - 6 fixed roles for a realistic, well-rounded squad.
  4. Pick your tactics - formation, style, mentality. Scout the opponent first.
  5. Rotate your squad - 6+ starts in a row costs OVR to fatigue. Bench them to recover.
  6. Draw the league and play - run each match day, adjust, kick off.
  7. Chase the table - 30 rounds, then compare your final score on the leaderboards.

Every player hides six attributes under their OVR. A badge appears once a player is strong enough in that area to matter on the pitch - scouting who has what is part of the game.

๐ŸŽฏ SET-PIECE ACE โ€” Your go-to free-kick and penalty taker.

๐ŸŸจ HOT-HEADED โ€” Short fuse - picks up more cards.

โšก PACE THREAT โ€” Electric speed, deadliest on the counter-attack.
